Looking ahead to a great 2018!
Happy New Year!
It's hard to believe we're already a few weeks into 2018 but we've already survived the Bomb Cyclone, record cold temperatures and a few snow days.
This week's warm up has us positively optimistic that 2018 will be a good year, and we're busy planning events, speakers, networking opportunities and other ways to collaborate and create.
The official schedule will be out soon; in the meantime, here are some event and meeting dates to whet your appetite.

We Had a Jolly Good Time at the Holiday Stroll
It was a chilly and clear Thursday night and the crowds were out enjoying the 2017 Holiday Stroll in downtown Franklin!
The Stroll began with carolers and hot chocolates at the tree lighting ceremony of Dean College's campus. Families posed for photos in front of the tree strung with multicolored lights before strolling through downtown on their way to see Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Clara from the Nutcracker. Along the way they stopped to chat with business owners, warm up with a coffee, decorate some gingerbread cookies and sing some holiday songs. Those who didn't fill up on cookies and fried dough made a night of it and had dinner at one of the downtown restaurants.
It was a great holiday party - thanks to our event organizers Roberta Trahan, Pandora Carlucci, Chris Peterson and Kevin Johnson!
Thank you Dean College for hosting the tree lighting on your campus. The carolers were wonderful!
Thanks to The Franklin Historical Museum for bringing Mrs. Claus to the Stroll, and thank you Simon's Furniture for hosting Santa and the FHS musicians.
Thank you to our volunteers for setup and cleanup, to Bryan Taberner for creating the detailed map, and the Franklin Police for traffic duty. Thanks to the Franklin DPW for lighting the downtown and making it so festive!
And, of course, thank you to our many generous sponsors who made the event possible.

Harvest Festival WOWs Downtown Franklin - Thank You!
Saturday, October 14, dawned grey and a little damp but gradually dried and cleared, setting the stage for a fantastic 15th annual Harvest Festival!
Thank you to the Franklin community for coming out in droves to celebrate one of our favorite seasons here in New England! Kids and pets in costumes, Franklinites and friends from other towns - they were all here! Organizers estimate nearly 6,000 people enjoyed the Harvest Festival on Saturday, making it the largest one-day event the Franklin Downtown Partnership has ever run.
We have so many businesses and people to thank for helping the Partnership pull off such a feat. Our Harvest Festival Committee was made up of Scott Martin, Lisa Piana, Beth Wierling, Beth Simon, Jared Simon and Jen Hurst. Thank you for all the hours dedicated to this effort.
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped plan, organize, set up, run and clean up this Festival. The Franklin High School girls volleyball team helped us set up, and the FHS boys soccer team helped the Franklin DPW on clean up duty. Thank you, Beth Simon, for organizing all of our wonderful volunteers.
Thanks to the Franklin Police Department for directing traffic and keeping our visitors safe in the crosswalks.
And thank you to all of our generous sponsors who supported this year's Festival. We couldn't put on an event like this without you!
